Chapter 4-5 Vocabulary and Questions

Vocabulary
Regulated, invariably, rehabilitation, tabulated, disgraced, serene, distribution, frail, exposed, absorbent, chortled, disquieting, infraction, and good-naturedly, fidgeted,

Define each vocabulary word. Then use the word in a sentence. Each sentence must contain a content clue that defines the word.
Example: Gravitating
A. moving toward
B. The students were gravitating toward the new soft-serve ice cream machine in the cafeteria.

Questions
  1. Do you think the rule against bragging is a good one? Why or why not?

  2. Read the second full paragraph on page 27 beginning, "The area of dwellings behind him..." What kind of description of this setting is included? What is NOT included?
